How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My father was a Pittsburgh Paramedic who separated his shoulder in the line of duty. Post surgery, and not able to perform the job anymore, he began teaching. His expertise awarded him a job as the Director of the EMS degree program at George Washington University. After 10 years of teaching excellence there, he founded AEC in February of 1998. AEC now nationally certifies over 100 paramedics a year and has one of the highest national registry pass rates in the state of Virginia.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We tailor our courses to fit the schedules of the masses.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently are teaching in 5 different locations: Manassas, Stafford, Elkton, Alexandria, and Culpeper.
